I’m excited to get the lowest score of the day today! In 2018, I plan on going for college golf this year after I’m done with my board exams. My dad introduced me to golf, and once I started playing I got hooked onto it. I couldn’t play much for the last two years owing to injury, and I had to put in a lot of effort to get back. It’s nice to be back on course with a lot of my friends who are all playing alongside me at this tournament.”

Surya Kumar also ended his day respectably with 2 over 73, playing an impressive front 9 of one under 35 to take the lead in the U-21 Boys category, while, Tushar Pannu closed his day with 3 Over 75 to take the lead in the U-16 Boys Category.

I was playing well, I kept missing short putts as the greens are very tricky and tough. You just end up making mistakes, but I was happy today.” Anika is hoping to keep her lead in the U-16 Girls Category also shared,  “I would obviously be happy to play in Asia, I will learn a lot, and the tournament is a very big deal. Even if I don’t do well, it’ll be good exposure for me.”
