ONGC ‘A’ WINS THE 38TH PSPB INTER-UNIT GOLF TOURNAMENT
Bangalore : With a gross score of 414, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC A) emerged as the winners of the 38th PSPB Inter-Unit Golf Tournament, while Oil India Ltd. (OIL) with a gross score of 423 came second at the three-day event, which concluded at the Eagleton Golf resort in Bangalore on Thursday.
ONGC A was headlined by India’s top female amateur golfer, Diksha Dagar who finished with a score of 140 (4 under par) to be adjudged the Best Golfer of the Tournament (Ladies) along with teammate Pukhraj Singh who won the Best Golfer of the Tournament (Male) with a score of 137 (7 under par). In the nett category Indian Oil Corporate Limited –Assam Oil Division (IOCL-AOD) won with a cumulative score of 410, just ahead of runners up ONGC B, who had a nett score of 417.
Pukhraj Singh of ONGC A also emerged as the Best Golfer overall while his teammate Harshjeet Sethie took home the Best Gross over 18 holes with a score of 139.
Raman Dhillon of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited took home the SN Bhatt Trophy (best nett score over 2 days) while Dr. Mukul Dutta of IOCL -AOD won the Best Nett over 18 holes. The Gohain Trophy (19-24 handicap category) went to Oil India’s Rajeev Baruah while S. Jeyakrishnan won the PSPB President’s best score award.
