A QUICK SESSION TO BAN HORSE TRADING IS APPROPRIATE: JUSTICE HEGDE
Hyderabad: The Lokayukta retired Supreme Court today dismissed a petition filed by the Lokayukta seeking a ” Said Santosh Hegde.
“No party has won a majority. But only the unconstitutional way of treading up to the majority of people has raised concerns over me. If this is to be missed, the only solution is to call for a quick session, “he said.
“The Supreme Court’s judgment should be noted in the SR Bomayi case before allowing BS Yeddyurappa to form government. The verdict clearly states that the majority of them have to prove within the Assembly not to be outside of the Assembly, “said Hegde.
Proposed by the state of Goa and Manipur state assembly, he has the opportunity to form a government with a large party, though not a majority. But ultimately it would have to prove its majority in the House.
