Bengaluru. Vijaya Bank net profit down 43.3 per cent to Rs 144.34 crore in first quarter of current financial year The net profit for the same period last fiscal was Rs 254.69 crore. The total income increased from ₹ 3,510 crore to ₹ 3,936 crore. “The amount taken to meet the financial losses in the future has risen from ₹ 423 crore to ₹ 659 crore. Operating Profit has increased from ₹ 753 crore to Rs 852 crore, “Managing Director of Bank of India R.A. Shankara Narayanan informed the news conference. He said the current financial year is expected to be Rs. 1,000 crore. The bank’s lending rate declined to 4.10 per cent from 5.24 per cent. The value of the value declined to ₹ 4,784 crore from ₹ 4,904 crore.
