KARNATAKA NAVA JAGRUTHI VEDIKE CONDEMNS RAHUL GANDHI FOR THE CONSPIRACY HATCHED BY CONGRESS PARTY TO PREVENT A DALITH LEADER BECOMING CHIEF MINISTER
Bengaluru. Congress leaders say they hastily supported JD(S) to form Congress – JD(S)coalition government in Karnataka because they wanted to prevent BJP forming government , yes this is one reason. But there is another important reason behind this. That reason is they wanted to avoid a Dalit Leader Becoming Chief Minister said Mr.Anantharayappa , State President & Advocates
At present in Karnataka Congress Party, main contenders for CM post are Dalits, they have enough experience, good record of service and seniority to be eligible to become Chief Minister. Congress leaders knew they could not avoid a Dalit Leader this time as they did many times in the past. Hence, it’s claim for Chief Minister had become inevitable. That is why Congress chose not to stake its claim for Chief Minister ship and declared its unconditional support to Sri H.D. Kumara Swamy to form coalition government said Dr. M. Venkataswamy, Leader of Samata Sinika Dal
This has been made clear by former Prime Minister H.D.Deve Gowda himself he had spoken to media that since H.D. Kumara Swamy’s health was not good, he had advised Congress Party to keep CM post for itself. But congress rejected it ( this report is available on THE BANGALORE TIMES and other National papers).
If the Congress did not want to deny Chief Minister ship to Dalith Leaders, it would have not have offered to keep H.D.Kumara Swamy as CM for all the 5 years , that too, when the JD(S) itself not made such a demand. This clearly showed that Congress party is not ready to accept a Dalit leader as CM.
In reality, had the JD(S) gone withwith BJP and JD(S) would have shared chief Ministership half term each. Congress too could have made these arrangements. Sri. H.D.Kumara Swamy could have been given first half and Congress could take second half.
Congress party has offered CM post for Vokkaligas, Lingayaths and Backwards many times. But it did not give chance to Daliths who are 24% of the population and even though Daliths have supported Congress Party for the last 70 years.
Therefore they urged all Daliths to take this injustice seriously and raise our voice throughout the state by peaceful protesting and condemning Sri Rahul Gandhi, AICC President, for the conspiracy hatched by the Congress Party in all Districts and Taluk headquarters of Karnataka.
