CUSTOMER AWARENESS PROGRAMME BY VIJAYA BANK

 Bangalore. The Bangalore North & South Regional Offices of VIJAYA BANK organized a Customer Awareness Programme on 15 September 2018 in co-ordination with the Banking Codes and Standards Board of India, an independent and autonomous body at Vijaya Bank, Head Office, M.G.Road, Bangalore.

The programme was an effort at increasing awareness among the customers on the BCSBI Codes and grievance redressal mechanism in Banks.   The extensive deliberations in the meeting was aimed at enhancing the awareness of participants about their rights as bank customers and included a presentation by BCSBI on “Code of Bank’s Commitment to Customers” and “Code of Bank’s Commitment to MSEs”. Ms.Jyothi Sharma, Sr. Vice President, BCSBI was the Chief Guest on the occasion and spoke at length on the efforts of BCSBI in educating the customers.

The lively interactive session focused on various constraints faced by the customers in their day-to-day activities, how to go about addressing them and the responsibility of the Bank is addressing such issues in a timely manner.

Mr. Y. Nageswara Rao, Executive Director, Vijaya Bank, in his address emphasized the importance of customers and the various measures introduced by the Bank to enhance customer delight in the Bank.   Other top Executives of the Bank were also present on the occasion.
