BBMP DEPUTY MAYOR RAMILA UMASHANKAR PASSES AWAY IN BANGALORE
Bengaluru. Ramila Umashankar died in Bangalore on Friday, Sept 05, 2018. Ramila Umashankar, who was recently elected Deputy Mayor of BBMP, passed away early on Thursday. At 12.50 pm, Ramila had a severe heartbeat. She was admitted to a private hospital in the city’s West Card Road. However, She died without treatment. In the BBMP polls held in 2015, Ramila contested from Cauveryapuram Ward (103) as JDS candidate. She was elected as deputy mayor of BBMP a week earlier. When Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy visited our metro on Thursday morning, Ramila was also present when Deputy Chief Minister Parameshwar was on the verge of checking the city markets in the city. Ramila, who has been for all day long, died late last night. Ramila’s death is a family sad. Deputy Mayor Ramila was also present when DCM Parameshwar visited the KR market on Thursday morning. Chief Minister HD Deve Gowda on Thursday Ramila also attended the meeting of the Metro on Kumaraswamy’s visit.
