PSLVC61 EOS-09 satellite launch: ISRO successfully launches 101st satellite; Fails to enter orbit
Sriharikota : ISRO has created history by launching its 101st satellite. However, the attempt failed due to a technical problem in the successfully launched satellite. ISRO’s EOS-09 (Earth Survey) satellite was successfully launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh aboard the PSLV-C61 rocket. However, it is being said that a technical problem has been encountered in the 3rd phase. ISRO chief V Narayanan has said that technical problems were encountered in the 3rd phase of the launch of the EOS-09 satellite, due to which the mission could not be completed.
