Bengaluru : Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda celebrated his 93rd birthday at the JDS office in Bengaluru. Cake cut with workers at J.P. Bhavan and celebrate with workers JDS senior leader and former Prime Minister of the country, H.D. Deve Gowda, turned 93 on Sunday, and on this occasion, he visited the Tirupati Tirumala temple and offered special prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
He reached the Tirumala temple in the morning and was received by TTD officials. Later, he had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy and offered prayers.
Later, the former Prime Ministers, who returned to Bengaluru from Tirupati, attended his birthday program organized by JDS leaders and workers at the state office JP Bhavan. On this occasion, they celebrated by cutting a huge cake.
A shower of wishes from dignitaries
Former Prime Ministers Deve Gowda have been wished a happy birthday by national and state-level dignitaries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and many other dignitaries have wished him.

Celebration at JDS office
The leaders and workers celebrated the birthday of the former Prime Minister with enthusiasm at the JDS state office. Deve Gowda celebrated by cutting a cake with the workers and feeding sweets to everyone.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, the former Prime Minister said; I have been going to Tirupati every year on May 18 since 1986. I could not go after my knee hurt. Kupendra Reddy has built a twelve-room guest house there. I was invited to its inauguration. He said that he came after having darshan of God.
Many dignitaries including the President of this country, the Prime Minister, the Home Minister have wished me a happy birthday. Amit Shah called and spoke on the phone. I have thanked everyone. I am very grateful to everyone. The former Prime Minister said that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister remembered me and wished me despite their busy programs.
Today I will not talk about any politics. Workers and fans are coming even near my house. Therefore, I am leaving after taking your permission, he said.
