The government has concluded that the main reason for the tragedy is the irresponsibility of the city police commissioner’s team, the event management company DNA and the state cricket association (KACA), and has ordered the immediate arrest of those representing these three organizations. High Court has filed a PIL in the Vidhana Soudha and Cubbon Park police stations.
The High Court has filed a PIL regarding the stampede at the Pannaswamy Stadium in which 11 people died.
As the proceedings began on Thursday morning, a division bench headed by acting Chief Justice V. Kameshwara Rao expressed deep concern over the incident. The bench directed the Advocate General to provide information on the security measures taken by the government.
It has been decided to form a one-man commission headed by D. Kunha. Since it is apparent that the cause of the incident was the irresponsibility of RCB, DNA and KSCA, the representatives of all three organizations have been ordered to be arrested. An FIR has already been registered in this regard. A CID investigation into the case is also underway.

Earlier, the Kattas Park police station had initially expressed outrage in the public sphere that the police were trying to kill someone by succumbing to pressure based on the complaint of the relatives of the deceased.
Police have finally registered a case in connection with the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede, and the RCB team management, DNA Entertainment Private Limited and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KACA) have been named as accused. It has been revealed that the police did not have prior permission for the victory ceremony.
Earlier, the Cubbon Park police station had initially registered an unusual case based on the complaint of the relatives of the deceased. This move was strongly objected to by the public. There was outrage in the public sector that the police were trying to protect the guilty by bowing to pressure and not holding anyone responsible for the tragedy.
