Congress leader Rahul Gandhi told a Pune court that some BJP MPs have threatened my life in response to his statements on freedom fighter V.D. Savarkar. Rahul’s lawyer Milind Pawar told the court in this regard, “Rahul’s life is in danger.” Rahul Gandhi said that some BJP MPs have threatened that “the same fate that befell your grandmother Indira Gandhi will happen to you.”
Pawar alleged that the “lineage” of those who threatened the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha is a big reason for concern. New Delhi: “My life is in danger,” said Lok Sabha Opposition Leader and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.
“Some BJP MPs have threatened me that I will face the same fate as my grandmother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for my statement against Vinayak Damodar Savarkar during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in 2022,” Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has alleged.
