New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has criticised the proposed bills that allow the removal of the Prime Minister, Union ministers and Chief Ministers on serious criminal charges. She said these bills are against democracy and the Constitution.
This will allow the government to act uncontrollably. She expressed concern that even if the charges are not proven, the Chief Minister can be arrested and removed from power within 30 days.
